Love how the words grab each reader in a unique way. More than an a job, or a prisoner, or just worn a way with time. Charles, per the coffee remark, we do have a "Daily Grind" coffee shop, though grinds in your cup are far from pleasant!

This read to me like- 'occupation?'- the word being spat out...like the work on question is MUCH more than that
I thought of coffee grinds, when I read the line about the grind. I hate when they get in my coffee too! :)
